Tackling COVID-19 Infodemic Using Deep Learning

Humanity is battling one of the most deleterious virus in modern history, COVID-19 pandemic, but along with pandemic there’s an infodemic permeating pupil and society misinformation which exacerbates current malady. We try to detect classify fake news on online media information relating coronavirus. The dataset contained posts, articles gathered from fact checking websites like politifact whereas real tweets were taken verified twitter handles. incorporated multiple conventional classification techniques Naive Bayes, KNN, Gradient Boost Random Forest Deep learning approaches, specifically CNN, RNN, DNN ensemble model RMDL. analyzed these approaches two feature extraction techniques, TF-IDF GloVe Word Embeddings would provide deeper insights into containing info media.
